ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Zhiqian Fu, you can also call me Laria. I’m currently pursuing an MFA in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I focus on exploring visual storytelling, character design, and the emotional impact of imagery. My work blends traditional techniques with digital media, allowing me to experiment with textures, colors, and narrative forms.

I’m passionate about creating illustrations that not only capture attention but also convey deeper stories and emotions. Through my projects, I aim to connect with viewers on a personal level, evoking curiosity, joy, and reflection.

When I’m not drawing, I enjoy exploring new art styles, reading, and observing the world around me for inspiration. This constant curiosity and love for creativity drive me to push the boundaries of my work and discover new ways to tell stories visually.
